DIGITAL DESIGNER / Dubai, Techno Hub


Heer inc. is seeking a talented Digital Designer with strong graphics capabilities who will be responsible for designing all marketing and sales materials as well as ensuring the company’s corporate brand identity is maintained in all touchpoints.



Responsibilities

  • Work closely with a highly accomplished, entrepreneurial sales and marketing team to build materials that highlight Heer’s unique platform capabilities. These materials include sales presentations, printed collateral, emails, conference displays and more. (Built in PowerPoint, Keynote and Adobe Creative Suite.)


  • Manage and update the company’s corporate website


  • Design and manage corporate emails/newsletters sent to an internally-managed prospect database of leading retailers, brands, agencies, analysts and channel partners.


  • Provide creative support for in-store mobile marketing campaigns run by leading retailers and brands through Heer’s marketing platform.


  • Conduct ongoing research of mobile design and user interface best practices.



Requirements

  • 4+ years in digital design with experience in designing enterprise marketing materials and/or consumer marketing materials for ecommerce/advertising/tech/mobile business.

 

  • Master in Adobe Creative Suite


  • Strong skill set and experience with PowerPoint, Keynote, WordPress and Hubspot (or other email management system)


  • Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering highly-polished designs under tight time constraints.


  • Experience at a design-focused technology company, design firm, or creative agency desired.


  • Creative approach to problem solving, innovation and issue resolution.


  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally and as a presenter.


  • Self-motivated with a high degree of analytical ability and intellectual curiosity.


  • Working knowledge of HTML / CSS.


  • BA/BS degree required.
SOFTWARE ENGINEER / Back End

Heer inc. is seeking an enthusiastic software developer who wants to be part of a fast-paced, expanding software development team to help craft the next generation of mobile marketing and advertising products at Heer. This role is responsible for developing key pieces of Heer’s backend infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have excellent software development skills, great attention to detail and willingness to learn. He/she will work with other server engineers on implementing and maintaining Heer’s advertising platform capable of serving millions of users.

 


Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and maintain Heer’s backend infrastructure.


  • Code and test side-by-side with other talented developers and designers to drive the evolution and expansion of Heer’s technology.


  • Play an integral part in technical project delivery with uncompromising quality.



Requirements

  • 3-7 years of professional software development experience.


  • Knowledge of one or more modern programming languages (Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, etc.).


  • Hands on experience with database design and optimization using Postgres, MySQL, SQLServer or Oracle.


  • Experience developing cloud based, high traffic, multi-user applications.


  • Working knowledge of the LAMP stack.


  • Familiar with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Kinesis, S3, Redshift)


  • Proven ability to work in a small fast-paced start-up team.


  • Self-motivated and self-managed with a high degree of analytical ability and intellectual curiosity.


  • BS or Masters in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
DATA ANALYST / Dubai, Techno Hub

The Data Analyst supports the Development Technology and Operations department, which provides the technical and structure for Heer’s efforts.
As a Data Analyst, you will:


  • Conduct Data Integrity projects within Enterprise/BBCRM, which is the fundraising database of record for Heer, and other applications serving Heer development.


  • Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources in order to update donor information, manage duplicate records, and resolve database inconsistencies.


  • Assist in identifying the areas of greatest need, developing project plans, and seeing them through to completion.


  • Work very closely with our constituent records and be responsible for recognizing and flagging data hygiene issues, process issues, and system failures.


  • Run established and scheduled processes such as new record acquisition that are critical to the functioning of Enterprise/BBCRM, as well as other applications serving HEER Development and overall business operations.


  • Seek a quick and thorough resolution to any issues that may arise, and ensure that business is not interrupted.


  • Maintain a close relationship with partners & coordinate data related requirements.


  • Be versed in all business rules and the individual processes and workflows across Development, and offer suggestions for improvement.


  • Assist with the development of process documentation, provide backup to training staff, and contribute to team projects, as needed.


  • Validate data and test system functionality during database upgrades.


  • Take the lead on user experience, data integrity, business rules, and system workflows, and provide feedback to management, pre-during-post testing.


 

Requirements



  • A Bachelor’s Degree – additional relevant certifications are preferable


  • At least 3 year of relevant experience.


  • Strong work ethic.


  • Highly data literate; able to identify inconsistencies within a database, determine the root cause, and escalate issues as needed.


  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability.


  • Strong interpersonal verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with management, professional, technical, and administrative staff.


  • The ability to work independently.


  • Strong reporting & analytical skills.


  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.


  • Proficient with Excel, large data sets, and technical processes. SQL skills are preferred but not required.
